Position: Registration Technician

- Mission of the Department
Carry out and provide technical support for land registration, easements, and expropriations; update and process land and property registration data; and ensure compliance with applicable legal and technical standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site cadastral surveys
- Prepare cadastral maps, building records, and boundary maps.
- Process and validate information from various sources (SNIC, BUPi, Property Registry, Land Registry, etc.).
- Assist in the analysis of property boundaries and disputes and in the resolution of disagreements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards during field operations.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, descriptive specifications, and handover documentation;
- Investigate and identify property owners using official information;
- Contact property owners, tenants, usufructuaries, and other interested parties;
- Collect data related to property records for the purpose of preparing or modifying cadastral maps;
3. Job Requirements
Education:
• High school diploma; a college degree in engineering is preferred; must be eligible to practice land registration in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 3/2015 of January 9, supplementary regulations, and other applicable legislation.
• Knowledge of land surveying for rural properties;
• Knowledge of easement and eminent domain proceedings;
• Knowledge of surveying;
• Knowledge of GIS platforms;
• Experience in establishing easements and expropriations (preferred);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
• Strong decision-making skills;
• Effective stress management;
• Responsible, determined, and dynamic;
• Driver's license;
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
Experience:
• At least 2 years of experience in land registration, easements, and eminent domain;
• Experience with GPS surveys and the use of CAD/GIS software (e.g., AutoCAD, QGIS, ArcGIS).
Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of the legal framework governing easements and expropriations.
• Ability to prepare maps and reports and process georeferenced data.
